12 Blue Tree Drive

12 Blue Tree Drive was the home of Gary, Carla and Megan Matheson prior to and during Day 2.

Kim Bauer stayed as a live-in au pair with the Mathesons, caring for their daughter Megan. On the morning of Day 2, Kim took Megan outside to play on her rollerblades when Kim's father turned up to speak to her. Later, Kim and Megan were upstairs when she heard Gary being abusive to Carla. Kim took Megan out of the house and stole Gary's car to escape from the situation. ("Day 2: 8:00am-9:00am", "9:00am-10:00am")

Early the following morning, the police took Kim back to the house to pick up her belongings. However, Gary had returned and killed the officer escorting Kim. He entered the house, intent on revenge, and Kim fled to the upstairs attic. However, she fell through the floor, but in the ensuing scuffle managed to get Gary's weapon and shoot him dead with it. She was then picked up by Kate Warner. ("5:00am-6:00am", "6:00am-7:00am")

Background information and notes

• In Day 2: 8:00am-9:00am, the house number can see to be 16711. The scenes at the house were filmed at 16711 Bosque Drive in Encino.
• It is unclear exactly where in Los Angeles the house is meant to be located - in "Day 2: 9:00am-10:00am", Tony Almeida says that Roy Grothy is the closest agent to Culver City when he is at the house. However in "Day 2: 5:00am-6:00am", Jack Bauer says the house is in the same neighborhood as Kate Warner's, which is in Hancock Park, much further from Culver City than CTU.
