210 Laurel Canyon Boulevard was the address of Alex Hewitt's loft during Day 2. It was filled with audio and computer equipment, that Hewitt had used to create the Cyprus recording.

Day 2[]

After the nuclear bomb failed to detonate in Los Angeles, Peter Kingsley sent Eve to find and dispose of Kingsley. She raided his loft, and took his equipment away, but failed to find him hidden behind a false wall. Later Jack Bauer discovered Hewitt's involvement in the conspiracy and investigated his apartment. He too found it empty, but at that moment Sherry Palmer and her bodyguard Bryce entered looking for Hewitt. ("4:00am-5:00am")

Jack knocked Bryce out and questioned Sherry as to why she was there. In doing so, he fired several shots into the wall to frighten her, and noticed movement coming from behind it. He then discovered Hewitt hiding behind the wall, so ordered him out. Hewitt agreed to testify in exchange for immunity, so retrieved his hidden hard drive and began rebuilding his computer software for a demonstration. However, while Jack was distracted on the phone Hewitt stabbed Sherry with a pen and escaped out of a hidden hole in his wall. ("5:00am-6:00am")

Hewitt tries to escape via the rooftop

Hewitt then retrieved a gun he had hidden on some pipes and made his escape through the walls, pursued by Jack. Hewitt made it to the rooftop and was cornered, with Jack ordering him to drop his weapon. However, he did not and Jack shot him in the leg, causing him to fall back and hit his head. A CTU chopper arrived but was recalled by Carrie Turner, by which time Hewitt had passed away. Jack returned to the loft and used Hewitt's program on a call between Sherry and Peter Kingsley, who then agreed to meet her at Los Angeles Coliseum. ("6:00am-7:00am")
