Revision as of 03:10, 9 December 2013
There have been a few commercials that have been crossovers with 24.
United Kingdom
Nissan
During the airing of Season 4 whilst Nissan were the official UK sponsors of 24, a short film entitled "Exit" was shown, in which an unnamed character made a journey to throw the ashes of a close friend or family member into the Grand Canyon. At the beginning and end of each advert break a new clip from the film, less than 5 seconds short, was shown until the whole thing was complete by the end of the series. The film is available on the 24: Season Four DVD Collection.
North America
Ford
During the first episode of Season 3, Ford presented the 54 minute episode commercial-free except for its own six-minute short film featuring the F-150 truck. The mini-movie ran for 3 1/2 minutes at the start of the show and 2 1/2 minutes at the end. It was called "The Donation" and mimicked 24 with its own terrorists, car chases and kidnapping.
Japan
CalorieMate
CalorieMate is a brand of energy-supplement foods produced by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., in Japan. It has had a few Japanese commercials featuring Jack Bauer in a real-time scenario.
