The 24 theme is the main title music of 24. It features in the end credits of every episode, and in various refrains through certain episodes.

The theme was composed by Sean Callery, along with the other incidental music heard on 24, most of which has been released on the 24 soundtracks. The theme has been included on the Original Television Soundtrack and the Seasons 4 and 5 Soundtrack. When the theme was first included on the original soundtrack, it had never been played in full before, having been edited to accommodate the final cut of the first episode.

The theme was rerecorded as a five minute piece, played by a full orchestra, for 24: The Game, which was released on the Original Game Score. It was known as the "24 Symphonic Suite". This theme was played over the end credits of 24: Redemption to account for its lengthy nature.

Several remixes of the theme have been composed, notably by Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren. His few remixes were collected on the album 24: The Longest Day. It was also remixed by Benny Benassi, Crystal Method and Towa Tei, each separately. These three remixes were included on the 24: Remixed album.

The theme is also heard as the background music for all DVD menus (albeit with slight variations on each), as well as the introductory screen on 24: The Game. Two DVD special features at looked at the 24 theme (along with other music from 24); "Music by Sean Callery" (pictured, right) and "The Fimucité Festival Presents: The Music of 24".

Sean Callery refers to the song as "Jack Bauer's theme".
