Ahmed was a suicide bomber working for Marc Vollard.
Ahmed, Rashid, and Piet Huygens were all preparing for their mission at Pelican Pier and configuring the explosives they intended to use to blow up the Mississippi River Bridge. Vollard entered the barge to check up on the captains, and Ahmed reassured Vollard that he would be able to sail to the bridge, despite the upcoming hurricane. Several hours later, Ahmed and Rashid sailed to the bridge, ready to martyr themselves. Before they could, the U.S. Coast Guard intercepted them just after 2am, after being warned by CTU. Ahmed and Rashid refused to stop the boat and continued to sail forward, prompting the Coast Guard to destroy the barge. (Storm Force)
