Yitzhak "Aki" Avni (born April 27, 1967; age 56) portrayed the terrorist Mohsen during Season 2 of 24. He has appeared in American and Israeli productions.
Biography and career
Aki Avni was born in Rehovot, Israel. Through his career, he has worked in both American and Israeli productions. Some of the films he has worked on are Time of Favor, Open Heart, Free Zone, The Divided, and Universal Soldier: Regeneration.
Avni has also appeared in TV shows like The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, and Michael Irby), Standoff (with Gina Torres and Michael Cudlitz), Huff (with Stephen Spinella, T.J. Thyne, and Nancy Linehan Charles), and JAG. He was also the lead in Israeli series Tironoot and Ulai Hapa'am.
Aside of films and TV, Avni is also active in theater. He was the lead in an Israeli adaptation of Fatal Attraction.[1]
