Role on 24[]

Alicia Coppola was cast as a threat-assessment analyst at CTU during Season 4 who happened to be a Muslim. However, her scenes were ultimately deleted because director Jon Cassar feared that her arc would be poorly received by the audience. A similar character played by Nazanin Boniadi was later used on Showtime's Homeland, which is developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa.
