Angela Bethany Goethals (born May 20, 1977; age 47) played Maya Driscoll during Season 4 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Angela Goethals was born and raised in New York City, the daughter of Rosalind, a teacher and single mom. Angela has a sister called Sara. Goethals attended Stuyvesant High School where she was a cheerleader. In 1999, she graduated from Vassar College with a bachelor's degree in French.
Goethals began acting in 1988 when she was around 10 years old. One of her first films was Heartbreak Hotel, which also featured Chris Mulkey. She also appeared in two films with Macaulay Culkin: Rocket Gibraltar and the hit Home Alone.
From 1993 to 1994, Goethals was one of the main cast members of the show Phenom. The show also featured William Devane in the lead cast. In 2003, she was a regular on the show The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire, with Mare Winningham. She also had a lead role in the show Do Over from 2002 to 2008. Recently, Goethals has appeared in shows like Law & Order (with Paul Schulze), and Grey's Anatomy.
Goethals has also appeared in popular films like Jerry Maguire (with Regina King), Changing Lanes, and Spanglish.
