Biography and career[]
Anil Kumar was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but raised in Kent, Ohio. He attended Kent State University where he completed a BA in Psychology. He also earned an MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program at Rutgers University.
Through his career, Kumar has appeared in shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Oz (with Kirk Acevedo and Željko Ivanek), ER (with Paul McCrane), The Agency (with Tim Kelleher and Will Patton), JAG, Nip/Tuck, The Cape, Revenge, and State of Affairs. He also played a part in a 2006 episode of E-Ring with fellow 24 performers Benjamin Bratt, Dennis Hopper, Maurice Compte, and Josh Wingate.
