Biography and career[]
Finlay was born in New York. She graduated from Hunter College High School and enrolled at Queens College when she was 16 years old. After her second year, she took a leave of absence to work in a law firm, but completed her Bachelor's degree later, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Finlay started her career in 1988, with a small role on the film Working Girl (with Jeffrey Nordling). After that, she has appeared in other films like Quick (with Jeff Cadiente and Salvator Xuereb), The Hard Truth, and Alternate Endings. Aside from films, Finlay has worked on TV shows like Castle (with Stana Katic), Boston Legal, and Gilmore Girls.
Finlay is also a published author and a political commentator.
