Arlo Hanlin Hemphill (born October 7, 1971; age 48) is a character actor and oceanic conservationist who played a Navy SEAL at the Starkwood compound in "Day 7: 12:00am-1:00am".

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Arlo Hemphill was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology, graduating in 1994. From 2001 to 2003, Hemphill studied Marine Biology at Nova Southeastern University.

Through his career, Hemphill has worked as Director of Coastal Conservation Program at Fundación Jatun Sacha in Ecuador, Director of Global Marine Strategies at Conservation International, and Watershed Coordinator at Maryland Coastal Bays Program. In 2006, he started I Am Wilderness, an online media project to document and raise awareness about nature and the environment.

From 2008 to 2009, Hemphill appeared on numerous TV shows and films. Some of the shows he worked on are Criminal Minds, Mad Men, Desperate Housewives (with Ricardo Chavira), and Entourage (with Kevin Dillon). Hemphill also appeared on films like Bottle Shock, Finale, and The Mandalorian Legacy.
