Assaf Cohen (born October 31, 1972; age 51) played Yassir in Season 4 and Navid in Season 8 of 24.

Assaf Cohen was born in California. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he grew up in Palo Alto. Cohen also lived for a number of years in the Middle East, and attended UC Berkeley where he earned a Bachelors degree in Integrative Biology. Later, Cohen continued his classical training by earning a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

Cohen has played two different roles on 24. During Season 4, he played the role of Yassir, a terrorist working for Habib Marwan. His character was killed during "3:00am-4:00am" when Jack Bauer and Curtis Manning raided the warehouse that they were hiding in. Cohen later appeared in Season 8 as Navid, a terrorist working with Samir Mehran. He was present and helped with Omar Hassan's execution during "6:00am-7:00am".
