Austin Priester is a stunt performer and actor who has had two roles on 24.
Biography and career[]
Priester was born in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in Troy, Michigan. He was a United States Army Airborne Ranger and is an avid skydiver and aerobatic pilot.
Priester has been working in the entertainment business since 2000. Through his career, he has worked in shows films like Training Day, Black Hawk Down, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Star Trek, The Expendables, and Jurassic World. Priester has also doubled for Eddie Murphy on three different films.
Aside of films, Priester has worked in TV shows like Nip/Tuck, NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order: LA, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
Role on 24[]
Priester has had two roles on 24:
- In Day 7: 3:00pm-4:00pm, he played one of Elemu's henchmen at the store on 12451 Arlington Avenue who held Henry Taylor captive. He was shot and killed by Jack Bauer when Jack and Renee stormed in the store to rescue Taylor.
- In Day 7: 6:00pm-7:00pm, Day 7: 7:00pm-8:00pm and Day 7: 8:00pm-9:00pm, he played one of Benjamin Juma's soldiers. He was at 44543 Lambourne Marina with Juma's other soldiers, and boarded the boat across the Potomac river. The team dived into the river entered the White House, where they waited outside the locked panic room where the President was. Juma sent him to find Olivia Taylor, and after Udo found her and Aaron Pierce, he accompanied them back to Juma and the panic room was opened. When Bill Buchanan detonated gas inside the panic room, he was thrown back and killed by the blast.
