The BBC was a news corporation based in the United Kingdom.
During Day 8, a stringer for the BBC bought footage of Omar Hassan's security forces committing human rights violations in the Islamic Republic of Kamistan from an eyewitness. Members of the British government saw the footage, and it was brought to the attention of President Allison Taylor as a potential obstacle to the peace agreement shortly afterwards. The BBC have the rights to the first 2 seasons of 24 and aired Pure 24 during the two seasons. Since Season 3 however, the broadcast rights from this season onwards was given to Sky One.
