Benjamin "Ben" Hernandez Bray (born November 11, 1968; age 57) is an actor, director and stunt performer who played Marwan's sniper in Season 4 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Ben Bray was born in Los Angeles, California, as Benjamin Hernandez Bray. He is the oldest of six children. Hernandez Bray was raised in the San Fernando Valley by his mother and grandmother. He is of Mexican and Irish descent. As a teenager, Hernandez Bray started practicing boxing, which led him into the stunt industry, which led him to become a prolific stunt performer, and eventually a stunt coordinator and second unit director.
Through his career, Bray has worked as a stunt performer and actor on TV shows like Alias, Nip/Tuck, The Shield, The Blacklist, S.W.A.T. and Sons of Anarchy. He has also worked on feature films like A Star Is Born, Jack Reacher, Silver Linings Playbook, Iron Man, Crank, Star Trek, Three Kings, and the Transformers franchise.
Since 2015, Bray has also been working as a director. He debuted as such on NBC's State of Affairs. He has also directed episodes of Lucifer, Arrow, Supergirl, Queen of the South, and S.W.A.T. In 2018, Bray directed his first feature film, El Chicano, which he co-wrote with Joe Carnahan. The film features Noel Gugliemi in a supporting role.
