Benjamin Steeples

Benjamin Steeples (born December 26, 1979; age 44) made a brief uncredited appearance as the aide of Ethan Kanin during Season 7 of 24. He mostly works as a camera crewman, although not on 24.

Biography and career

Benjamin Steeples was born in Joplin, Missouri. From 1995 to 1998, he attended Carthage High School in Carthage, Missouri. Shortly after graduating he founded OMC Productions, a company to provide video production services. Around that time, Steeples also enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving from 1998 to 2002. In 2003, he was deployed as a reservist in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return, Steeples attended Palomar College, graduating in 2005. He followed that with a Bachelor's degree in Film & Electronic Media from California State University in Long Beach.

Steeples began his official career in 2005, when he appeared in a minor role in Will & Grace and also worked as a camera operator in the documentary Race Across America. He has also appeared in shows like Without a Trace, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (with Currie Graham and Alex Carter), and Cold Case (with Enuka Okuma and Ryan Cutrona). He also had a recurring uncredited role in Entourage as a mailroom clerk.

In addition to his minor acting roles, Benjamin has focused on his career as a camera crewman for several productions. Through the years, he has worked in numerous TV shows, among them at least ten episodes of the television series Leverage as well as a 2009 short comedy Cranky Puss which also featured fellow 24 actor Michael Benyaer. He has also worked on The Big Bang Theory and Tosh.0 since 2013.

Steeples is also an athlete, practicing a lot of disciplines from running, hiking, mountain biking, and obstace courses.
