The Beverly Wilshire Hotel was a hotel in Los Angeles, California.

While visiting Los Angeles for a conference with the Dow Jones board of directors, Federal Reserve Chairman Martin Webb stayed in a suite at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The night before the meeting, Webb was unable to sleep, and spent a few hours watching MMA fights on ESPN. The next morning, soon after waking, Webb called Secretary of Treasury Lou Friedman, who hoped to secure an endorsement of the President's economic stimulus package. Despite some misgivings, Webb agreed to do what he could to smooth the plan's implementation. (Chaos Theory)
