William Everett Mayo (born December 31, 1957; age 62) played Rosser during Season 2 of 24.

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Billy Mayo started his professional acting career in 1994, appearing in the TV show Murder, She Wrote (with Taylor Nichols). After that, he has appeared in TV shows like ER (with Eriq La Salle), Crossing Jordan (with Ravi Kapoor), Lost (with Daniel Dae Kim), Southland (with Michael Cudlitz and Kevin Alejandro), and NCIS: Los Angeles.

Mayo also had a recurring role as The Porter on ABC's short-lived show Traveler. Later, he had another recurring role as Detective Lyons on Desperate Housewives. Mayo appeared in 5 episodes from 2007 to 2009. From 2013 to 2015, he played Sheldon on Roomieloverfriends.

Aside of TV, Mayo has also worked on films like American Violence (with Nick Chinlund and Patrick Kilpatrick), Killing Lazarus, The Green Hornet, and The Perfect Storm (with Cherry Jones and Bob Gunton).
