Blaine Johnson studied at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, graduating in 1991 with a diploma in Lab Technology. During college, he was a DJ at Seneca Radio. After that, Johnson studied at Harris Institute of Arts, where he completed a degree in Production and Audio Engineering in 1994.
