Blake Simon was an advisor to President Wayne Palmer during Day 6

Day 6

Under the orders of Thomas Lennox, Blake had meetings with the Attorney General, to see whether it was legal to intern Muslim Americans. His exact job title is unclear, though he appears to be either White House Counsel or Assistant Attorney General for Counter-Terrorism.

He advised the President that it was legal, as there was precedent in American history. Palmer shot the idea down, however.

He was seen in the background while President Palmer, Lennox and Karen Hayes watched a satelite feed of the aftermath of a nuclear detonation in Valencia, California. He was shaking his head in horror.
