Bob Amis was a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sergeant on duty during Day 2.

Day 2[]

At the sheriff's station in Santa Clarita, Sgt. Bob Amis spoke with Kim Bauer after she was arrested and transported to police custody by Deputy Raynes. He brought her up to speed concerning the unanswered questions she had from previous events.

Amis informed her that she was no longer wanted for the murder of Carla Matheson; a witness had come forward to confirm that her husband Gary murdered Carla, and Gary's fingerprints were found on the murder weapon as well. Gary Matheson was still at large. Amis also stated that she would not be charged for the kidnapping of Carla's daughter, Megan. Since the nuclear weapon was detonated, her original claim of fleeing a bomb threat was now obviously verified.

The sergeant told Kim that Officer Brown, from whom she had escaped, would survive despite his injuries. Amis finally let Kim know that a call to the district attorney's office must be made soon, but she was free to go. ("1:00am-2:00am")
