Robert K. Morrisey (August 15, 1946December 29, 2017; age 71) played Dawes, a member of the Cabinet of President Wayne Palmer, during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Bob Morrisey was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, but grew up in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Morrisey began his acting career in 1992, when he appeared in the film Nervous Ticks. After that, he has appeared in films like The Book of Stars (with D.B. Sweeney), The Terminal (with Jude Ciccolella), Fun with Dick and Jane (with Richard Burgi), Eagle Eye (with Anthony Azizi, Bill Smitrovich, and Dariush Kashani), and Black November (with Ivar Brogger).

Aside from films, Morrisey has appeared in numerous TV shows. In the beginning of his career, he had a recurring role in the show Northern Exposure from 1993 to 1994. After that, he has appeared in shows like The Sentinel (with Richard Burgi and Tony Perez), Millennium (with Bill Smitrovich), The Fugitive (with Mykelti Williamson), NYPD Blue (with Esai Morales and Ryan Alosio), Numb3rs (with Navi Rawat and Peter MacNicol), and The Shield (with Benito Martinez).

Morrisey passed away on December 29, 2017.[1]
