Brian Hyman (born January 8, 1975; age 45) played Officer Mund during Season 8 of 24.

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Brian Hyman was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has an older sister and a younger brother. Hyman studied Communication Arts at Florida Atlantic University with a focus on journalism and filmmaking. After college, he started writing novels while also auditioning for roles in independent films, commercials, and performing in regional theaters. Hyman moved to New York City, and then to Los Angeles to further pursue his acting career.

Through his career, Hyman has appeared in soap operas like As The World Turns, Guiding Light, and All My Children, as well as shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Rescue Me, and the original Law & Order (with Paul Schulze).

Hyman continues to write stories, poetry, and other works. His hobbies include painting and photography, and he is also a yoga instructor.
