Biography and career Edit

Brian Silverman is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has degrees from Clark University and Harvard, and served for three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Haiti and Guatemala. Silverman has been in the Hollywood business since 2000. That year, he served as production assistant on one TV show, Tucker, and one TV film, Sharing the Secret. The next year, he was production assistant on the TV film Chestnut Hill.

Since 2004, Silverman has worked on numerous TV shows and films as an actor. Some of the shows he has appeared are The Guardian (with Raphael Sbarge), E-Ring (with Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper), Jericho (with Michael Gaston and Alicia Coppola), and Ray Donovan (with Jon Voight). In 2010, Silverman played the lead role of Detective Alan Edwards in the web series Central Division. Aside of TV shows, he has also appeared in several short films.

Silverman has studied acting at the Laura Henry Acting Studio. He was a member of ImprovBoston and studied improvisation at The Players Workshop of the Second City and iO West. Silverman has also trained with Michael Petrone at Actor's Ave and continues as a member of The Collaborative: A Multimedia Repertory Company.
