Biography and career[edit | edit source]
Briana Caparo was born in Lansing, Michigan to a military family. Her father is a retired Marine and her mother worked in sales. Caparo was the middle child of three girls. Because of her father's career, Briana moved frequently during childhood. They eventually settled in San Diego, California, where Briana was raised.
During childhood, Caparo was an avid soccer player. She played competitively through high school and went on to play at California State University Northridge. Caparo graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and started working as a radio sports journalist. Because of this, she was awarded the Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists.
After college, Caparo developed an interest in acting. She began studying with Terri Ross in San Diego while also touring as a professional Polynesian dancer with the Kalena O'Hilo dance troupe. Caparo then returned to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time, graduating from iO West Improv in 2014. After this, she has performed with several theatre groups and has appeared in many film, TV, and commercial projects.
