Brody was one of the passengers on the train in the Santa Clarita Valley, bound for Los Angeles, at the start of Day 4.
Day 4[]
He was a courier for McLennen-Forster (a defense contractor), escorted by one armed guard, who had the Dobson Override handcuffed to his wrist. When the train was wrecked, the terrorist Dar murdered Brody, stole the briefcase, and delivered it to Navi Araz. A few hours later, Erin Driscoll and the CTU staff wondered why Brody was the only person at the crash who was shot, and why they could not identify him. The implications of the device stolen from his wrist were then discussed with McLennen-Forster executive John Reiss, and CTU discovered how the different terrorist plots were tied together.
