Bruce Margolis (November 11, 1953 – February 16, 2018; age 64) was the Senior VP of production for Fox, who appeared in the special feature 24: Exposed.
Biography and career[]
Margolis began his career as a Production Assistant at Aaron Spelling Productions. Eventually, he became location manager, working in shows like Dynasty, Tales from the Crypt, and The A-Team. He worked for multiple production companis like Stephen Cannell Productions, CBS, Warner Bros, and Lorimar.[1]
In the late 90's, Margolis took a position of executive producer at MTM, after which he went to 20th Century Fox TV. At Fox, he worked as senior VP of production, working on such series as The X-Files, Prison Break, and Bones. Margolis remained with Fox for 18 years, after which he became an independent producer. However, in 2016 he signed a new deal with Fox to produce several shows for them.[2]
On February 16, 2018, Margolis died of cancer at the age of 64. Director and producer Jon Cassar shared the news of Margolis' passing on Twitter.[3]
