Caroline Chikezie (born February 19, 1974; age 50) played Jess Tanner in 24: Live Another Day. Her scene was deleted from the final cut of the episode.
Biography and career[]
Chikezie was born in London, England to Nigerian parents. She attended St. Antony's RC primary school, followed by St. Angela's Ursuline convent school, both situated in Forest Gate, London. When she was 14 years old, Chikezie was sent to a boarding school in Nigeria in an attempt to convince her to abandon her dreams of being an actress.
When she returned to London, Chikezie attended Brunel University to complete a degree in Medicinal Chemistry. Her father, who ran a hospital in Nigeria, wanted for her to follow his footsteps. However, Chikezie dropped out and won a scholarship to the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.
Chikezie started her acting career in 1998, appearing in the TV movie Babymother. After that, she has appeared in such feature films as Æon Flux, Eragon (with Robert Carlyle), Everly, and Mayhem. She also played the lead in the film Inale, which also featured Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
