Caroline Fowlds was a member of Prime Minister Alastair Davies's staff during Day 9.

Day 9[]

Along with the Prime Minister, Fowlds attended President James Heller's address to Parliament about the drone attack in Afghanistan and the need to maintain the Diego Garcia drone base. ("Day 9: 1:00pm-2:00pm", "2:00pm-3:00pm")

Later, Fowlds accompanied Prime Minister Davies to Willoughby House for a meeting with the President. Heller informed Davies about an imminent terrorist attack by Margot Al-Harazi, who was threatening to use hijacked drones against targets in London. With Davies, Heller, and others, Fowlds watched a live feed of a CIA raid on an abandoned estate where Al-Harazi was believed to be hiding, which ended in failure when Margot's son Ian used one of the drones to destroy the mansion and kill many of the agents. ("3:00pm-4:00pm")

After leaving the briefing, Fowlds revealed to Davies that she had discovered Heller was secretly being treated by a neurologist, possibly for Alzheimer's disease. Later, at Davies' office, Fowlds listened as Heller informed Davies that he had authorized Jack Bauer to pursue a lead on Al-Harazi by himself. Reminding Davies of Heller's medical condition, Fowlds suggested that it might not be prudent to trust Heller's judgment under the circumstances, and agreed to contact Woodfeld at MI5 to find out exactly what Bauer was up to. ("4:00pm-5:00pm")

Background information and notes[]

  • Fowlds has no dialogue in her first three episodes.
  • Although unnamed in the episode, her name was given in the caption of a promotional photo on Fox's press release website. The caption mistakenly listed "Miranda Raison" as the character name and "Caroline Fowlds" as the actor's name.
