Century Plaza Hotel

The Century Plaza Hotel was a hotel in the Century City neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

In advance of a proposed economic stimulus package, Federal Reserve Chairman Martin Webb held a conference at the Century Plaza with important financial officials, including Marion Zimmer and Dow Jones director Frank Nye. After a few hours, Webb concluded the meeting an hour ahead of schedule, telling his surprised colleagues that he believed they had addressed all the important matters on the table. Webb then departed for the Staples Center to watch his grandson Jake compete in the Professional Reality Fighting Championship. (Chaos Theory)

Background information and notes

• In an apparent proofreading error, Webb is stated to be staying at the Century Plaza in the early morning, but awakens in a later scene at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
