Chad Israel (born December 10, 1972; age 51) is an actor and screenwriter who had two roles on 24:
- He played a recurring CTU field agent from Season 3 to Season 5.
- He doubled for the corpse of the character of Cale.
Biography and career[]
Chad Israel studied at NYU. He is a screenwriter that has worked as a ghost writer and content developer for major international brands. His screenplay The Charnel House was produced in 2015, and he has worked on a pilot project called The Kings. In 2018, Israel co-wrote the film Dead Love.
Role on 24[]
Israel played the role of an unnamed CTU field agent during seasons 3, 4 and 5 and can be seen on several occasions throughout these series.
- He was first seen in the field operations offices of CTU Los Angeles during the afternoon of Day 3, stationed there throughout the day before going out in the field during the latter stages. He was seen running out of the building during Jack Bauer's pursuit of Tony Almeida, and was also a member of the field team sent to the Chamberlain Middle School in the final episode.
- He was a member of the follow-up team to the compound where Secretary of Defense James Heller was being held during Day 4, and assisted agents in cataloging the deceased terrorists and forensic evidence.
- Most notably during Day 5, he survived the Sentox nerve gas attack, as he and other survivors including Jack Bauer, Chloe O'Brian and Kim Bauer remained in the Situation Room. Following that he was a member of the field team sent to apprehend Collette Stenger with Bauer, Curtis Manning and Stokes.
He also doubled for Matt Bushell in the role of Cale, for the scenes after the Cale was shot dead.
