Charles Ryan "Chaz" Fatur (born April 27, 1966; age 57) played the unnamed CTU section 1.12 guard during Season 5 of 24. In addition to his acting roles, Chaz is a director, writer, producer, editor, and cinematographer.

Biography and career[]

Chaz Fatur was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Charles Ryan Fatur.

Fatur began his career in Hollywood in 2005. During that year, he worked on different films as a key set production assistant, a second assistant director, and a stunt driver, as well as acting in two shows: Las Vegas and Gilmore Girls (with Gregg Henry). After his role in 24, he continued working on various areas of the film industry.

In 2010, Fatur released his first short film called Marker 187. He worked as director, producer, writer, editor, cinematographer, as well as in several technical areas. After that, he has worked in several other short films.

Role on 24[]

Fatur played the role of a security guard at CTU Los Angeles during an episode of Season 5. During a tense confrontation between Curtis Manning and Lynn McGill, he arrested the latter when Manning brought up the Section 1.12 "incapacity clause" to relive McGill of his duties. Fatur was uncredited for the role.
