Chevensky

Chevensky was a terrorist who worked as a baggage supervisor at the Ontario Airport during Day 5. Jack Bauer learned that Chevensky would be somehow involved with the terrorists through a note that David Palmer left on his computer. This note listed Chevensky's name and office number. It is not known how Palmer obtained this information but he obviously considered it vital as he kept it hidden and encripted on a page of his memoirs.

Chevesnky possesed a key card which was to open a sealed transport crate containing 20 canisters of Sentox nerve gas. It was planned that Chevensky would take his counterparts to the canisters while the hostage situation errupted. That plan, however, was spoiled when Jack showed up. When confronted by Jack, Chevensky swallowed a suicide capsule and committed suicide while Jack's attention was drawn away. Beresch's men later found his body and had picked up the key card that was on him.

Despite Jack's interruption, the key card was still passed on and the nerve gas canisters were successfully removed from the airport.
