The Chicago Cubs were an American professional baseball team based in Chicago, Illinois.

  • Originally founded as the White Stockings in 1876, the Chicago Cubs, so named in 1903, are one of Chicago's two Major League Baseball teams, based at Wrigley Field in the city's North Side.
  • The Cubs coffee mug frequently seen carried by Tony Almeida, a reference to actor Carlos Bernard's own support of the team, garnered a fan following and the nickname "Cubby."
