Chris Cowlin (born August 9, 1980; age 45) is an English author, entrepreneur, and actor. He played a protester in 24: Live Another Day.

Biography and career[]

Chris Cowlin was born in London, England. He developed an interest in entertainment from an early age, appearing in a bread commercial when he was 8 years old. As a result, Cowlin was offered a role in the British children's show Grange Hill in the 1980s. He graduated from Clacton County High School in 1998.

Shortly after graduating, Cowlin started working as assistant and researcher for Kingfisher Publications. A year after, he started working as Production and Office Manager at Janus Publishing Company. In 2002, Cowlin started his own publishing company called Apex Publishing, where he still works as Managing Director. He has also published numerous books on various topics from the world of sports and entertainment.

In 2011, Cowlin decided to return to acting, and has had minor roles in hundreds of films and TV shows since. Some of the films Cowlin has worked on are Skyfall, The World's End, Diana, The Theory of Everything, and Project Evolution. He has also appeared on TV shows like EastEnders, Luther, Holby City, Hollyoaks, and Broadchurch, among many others.

Role on 24[]

Cowlin played a protester at the United States Embassy in London in "Day 9: 3:00pm-4:00pm". His character wore a white or gray hoodie and was seen during the split screens in the opening of the episode.
