Chris McGarry (born August 19, 1966; age 58) played Frank Haynam during Season 8 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Chris McGarry was born in Roselle, New Jersey. In 1987, he had a small role in the straight-to-video film Video Violence 2. However, it wasn't until the early 2000's that he decided to fully pursue a career in acting. Since then, he has been a prolific actor on television, film, and theater.

McGarry has appeared in shows like NCIS (with Mark Rolston), NCIS: New Orleans, Awake (with Cherry Jones), House of Lies, Bones (with T.J. Thyne), Numb3rs (with Navi Rawat), Law & Order, Criminal Minds, and The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert and Omid Abtahi).

In 2012, McGarry starred in the film Moneyball, with Reed Diamond and Glenn Morshower. He also appeared on Unthinkable, with Stephen Root, Gil Bellows, Vincent Laresca, Necar Zadegan, and Benito Martinez. McGarry also appeared in Lawless and Across the Universe.

McGarry is a member of Labyrinth Theater Company and The Actor's Studio. In 2003, he made his Broadway debut in Salome, alongside Al Pacino. He has also appeared in plays like The Long Red Road, and Doubt, alongside Cherry Jones. McGarry has also directed some plays for Labyrinth Theater Company.

McGarry has been married to Mary Kate Spach since 1996. They have two children.
