Christi Sotomayor was born in El Paso, Texas. She attended the University of Arizona, where she completed a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing in 1996. After that, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
Through her career, Sotomayor has worked as an assistant to producers and executive producers. Eventually, she started working as an assistant production coordinator and then production coordinator. Sotomayor has worked on TV shows like Sleeper Cell, Jane the Virgin, Sons of Anarchy, The Orville, and Lodge 49.
