Christine Devine (born November 2, 1965; age 58) played a news reporter in Season 3 of 24 and Season 1 of 24: Legacy. Devine is a Fox News anchor based in Los Angeles and television show host. She has portrayed news media characters in all of her acting roles.

Biography and career[]

Devine was born in Hamburg, New York, but grew up in Arizona. She is of Brazilian, Caucasian and Native American ancestry. Her mother married Dr. Jack Devine, who legally adopted her and she changed her name to Christine Devine. Christine attended Tolleson Union High School in Tolleson, Arizona where she was Valedictorian. After that, she attended Arizona State University, graduating in 1987.

Devine began her career as a reporter in her home state before joining KTTV. Since 2013, she has been an anchor on Fox News. Devine is a member of the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism's Hall of Fame, and received ASU's Founders Day Alumni Achievement award. Aside of her career as a news reporter, Devine has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, usually portraying news media characters.

Devine is also an activist in favor of adoption. She has an adoption segment on TV called "Wednesday's Child", where she has profiled foster children looking for adoptive homes. Because of her initiative, she was honored in 2009 with a Congressional Award. Devine also wrote a book titled Finding a Forever Family, a News Anchor's Notebook.

Devine married musician and actor Sean McNabb on September 9, 2016.
