Clay Lonis was sent up to Tuman's (who he knew as Marcus Lee) to make sure that PresidentHarry Barnes and Chinese Premier Xu Boxiong were safe during their meeting at the Vanderbilt Complex. He met with Nina Myers when she went to investigate Tuman. Myers left and Ayman al-Libbi arrived, disguised as a gardener. After al-Libbi killed Tuman, he presumably killed Lonis along with the other two agents.
