Cohenno was the Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Massachussetts submarine during Day 9.
At around 8:57pm, after Officer on the Deck Pham handed a fire order received at the submarine to Captain McColl, Cohenno opened the submarine safe and took out the fire codes. He then handed them to McColl who used them to confirm the veracity of the order. After confirming it, the captain told Pham and Cohenno that the order was to fire at the Chinese carrier Shenyang. They then prepared their torpedoes and fired two of them at the Chinese ship. Unbeknownst to them, the fire order had been sent by terrorist Cheng Zhi using the Defense override module.
