Biography and career Edit

Conroe Brooks was born and raised in San Jose, California. He started his acting career appearing in musicals like Bye Bye Birdie, Hello Dolly, and How to Succeed in Business. When he was 18 years old, Brooks joined the R&B group Special Generation. Three years later, he moved to Los Angeles to further his entertainment career. His first audition got him a role as Sam Cooke on the film Little Richard (with Devika Parikh).

Through his career, Brooks has appeared in other films like Tail Sting, Something's Gotta Give (with T.J. Thyne), Busted, Let Clay Be Clay, and The Amazing Adventures of the Living Corpse. He has also appeared in TV shows like Pretty Little Liars (with Lesley Fera), FlashForward (with Gil Bellows and Michael Massee), Heroes (with Zachary Quinto and Leonard Roberts), and The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, and Michael Irby).
