Craig Stearns is an American production designer who worked in 24: Legacy.

Biography and career[]

Craig Stearns grew up in Vermont. He started making films when he was in high school. While studying pre-med at the University of Vermont, Stearns took film courses, eventually being accepted into the USC film program. During school breaks, he worked part-time with designer Charles Eames focusing on architectural models, museum exhibitions, and educational films.

While studying at USC, Stearns met director John Carpenter and ended up working with him on some of his first films like Halloween, The Fog, and Assault on Precinct 13. During this early years, he worked as a set decorator, property master, and art director. Since 1982, Stearns has focused mostly on his career as a production designer.
