Dane Northcutt (born December 30) played the agent who showed the trap door that Syed Ali escaped through to Jack in Season 2 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Dane Northcutt attended Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, Alabama, graduating in 1990. After that, he attended Huntingdon College. While studying, he also started pursuing a career as an actor. By 1999, Northcutt also started working in insurance and finance employed by companies like Aflac, Financial West Group, Equinox, and Zecco.
Through his acting career, Northcutt has appeared on TV shows like NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Angel, Banshee, and CSI: Miami (with Rory Cochrane). He has also appeared in the movies Murdercycle, Tigerland (with James MacDonald), and Ocean Park. In 2012, he guest-starred as a second-in-command on NBC's Revolution, along with Billy Burke.
Northcutt also started an acting school called in-STUDIO in North Carolina. In 2013, Drew Matthews took over the business.[1]
