Biography and career Edit
Daphne Bloomer was born in Oklahoma City. She attended Monroney Junior High in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where she started developing an interest in acting. Bloomer attended the University of Oklahoma, but after just two weeks, she moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at UCLA where she majored in theater.
Bloomer started her acting career in 2002, when she played the role of Eugenia Willens in the soap opera Days of Our Lives. She continued to play the role until 2006. Bloomer has also appeared in other TV shows like Crossing Jordan (with Ravi Kapoor), Strong Medicine (with Alyson Croft), Greek, and Nashville (with Connie Britton and Mykelti Williamson). She also had a recurring role on The Bay from 2010 to 2011.
Aside of television, Bloomer has also appeared in several stage productions, including The Tangled Snarl. She also appeared on the film Who Made the Potatoe Salad?.
Role on 24 Edit
Bloomer played the role of a reporter during Season 2 of 24. Her character was reporting on a nuclear explosion that was seen in the California desert the night of "Day 2: 11:00pm-12:00am". Her intervention was seen on TV by burglar Ramon Garcia while he was robbing King's Liquor while Kim Bauer was there.
