Dave Greene (August 12, 1964 – July 28, 2004; age 39) was a Marine Lieutenant Colonel killed in the Anbar province of Iraq in July 28, 2004. He was assigned to the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 775, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Air Wing.
At the start of the closing credits of "Day 4: 12:00pm-1:00pm," it was announced that the episode was dedicated to the memory of Lt. Col. Greene:
