David Mark Andriole (born March 16, 1964; age 60) played Captain John Hansen during Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career[]

David Andriole grew up in the town of Branford, Connecticut. He studied at Yale University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History, and later at Northwestern University School of Law. Andriole is a member of the California Bar Association, and works as legal counsel and a consultant in the entertainment industry. He also was a water polo player and swimmer, and played competitive water polo nationally and internationally.

Andriole began his professional acting career in 1996 appearing in the film Indecent Behavior. After that, he has appeared in films like Freeway (with Kiefer Sutherland), Barb Wire (with Xander Berkeley), The Want (with Jeff Kober), Mini's First Time (with Sprague Grayden), Give 'em Hell Malone (with Doug Hutchison and Leland Orser), and The Hit List.

Aside of films, Andriole has appeared in TV shows like Bones (with T.J. Thyne), The Event (with Ian Anthony Dale, Bill Smitrovich, Željko Ivanek, Jose Zuniga, and Ned Vaughn), Shark (with Kevin Alejandro, Nestor Serrano, and Sterling Macer, Jr.), Crossing Jordan (with Ravi Kapoor), The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, Michael O'Neill, and Michael Irby), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), and The District (with Richard Burgi).
