Alasdair David Bark-Jones (born February 4, 1966; age 58) played a British colonel in 24: Live Another Day.
Biography and career[]
Bark-Jones was born in Crosby in Liverpool, England. He is the third of four children. Bark-Jones attended Rugby School and Newcastle University where he studied Politics and Ancient History. However, he was drawn to acting and performed regularly in the city's Gulbenkian Theatre.
Bark-Jones professional stage debut was in 1992 on A Doctor's Dilemma at the Manchester Royal Exchange. Since then, he has appeared in numerous award-winning plays, films, and TV shows. On TV, he has appeared in the mini-series Pride & Prejudice, and the series Wing and a Prayer and Strike Back. David also played several roles in the TV show Doctors.
Aside of TV, Bark-Jones has also appeared on films like The Da Vinci Code (with Jurgen Prochnow), RocknRolla, The Calling, and Breakdown (with Tamer Hassan). From 2001 to 2005, he took a four-year break to study directing under Sam Kogan.
Bark-Jones is married to Rachel Barraclough. They have two children together.
