David McDivitt (born December 27, 1968; age 51) played a presidential staffer during Season 5 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

David McDivitt was born in Santa Rosa, California. After his parents divorced, his mother moved the family to the Bay Area. During this time, McDivitt became involved in gang activity. Eventually, he decided to enlist in the U.S. Army to get away from gang-life. He eventually joined the U.S. Marine Corps as a diesel mechanic.

With time, McDivitt moved to Massachussetts where he met his current wife. It was she who encouraged him to try his luck at acting. McDivitt's first professional acting gig was a small appearance in Sex and the City. After that, he has appeared in shows like Over There (with Omid Abtahi, John Lacy, Currie Graham, Lombardo Boyar, and Sprague Grayden), The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, Michael Irby, and Michael O'Neill), and Numb3rs (with Navi Rawat and Peter MacNicol).

McDivitt has also appeared in films like Pineapple Express, Say It in Russian (with Rade Serbedzija), and Poseidon (with Kevin Dillon).
