David Lloyd Newsom (born March 10, 1962; age 57) played Scott Borman during Season 4 of 24. Scott Borman was a personal assistant to Secretary of Defense James Heller.

Biography and credits Edit

David Newsom was born in North Caldwell, New Jersey. His father was an investor, and his mother was an employment agency manager. Newsom attended a year at Ohio University, but dropped out after a year. After that, he attended Ithaca College where he earned a degree in film production.

Through his career, Newsom has appeared in shows like Quantum Leap, Homefront (with Sterling Macer, Jr.), China Beach (with Jeff Kober), House Rules, Fantasy Island (with Louis Lombardi), Inconceivable, The Days, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami (with Christina Chang), Men of a Certain Age, and Supernatural.

Newsom has also appeared in films like New Nightmare (with Tracy Middendorf), Boys (with Lukas Haas), Black Circle Boys, Where's Marlowe? (with Kirk Baltz and Wendy Crewson), A One Time Thing, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Since 2006, Newsom has focused mostly on his career as a producer. He has worked in shows like Deadliest Catch, Game of Arms, and Post Protection.
