Nina Myers went to see Silver, the supposed surgeon who had worked on Sam Collins' arm. However, Collins was not on Silver's records and he did not recall the surgery. When Nina asked him about his whereabouts on the day of the alleged surgery, Silver told her he was with his family at their place in Jackson Hole. This led her to realize that the records had been altered.
